What is your eternal destiny?
Solomon said that God has set eternity in the hearts of men (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Where are you heading?
Heaven Nobody on earth today knows much about heaven. The Bible tells us a little: In My Father’s house are many mansions (John 14:2a NKJV) Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Before
the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst
of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures
full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was
like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living
creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was
like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having
six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day
or night, saying:
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. (Rev. 21:1 NKJV) How
does a person get to heaven? Do you
believe in Jesus?

Hell Jesus'
Description of Hell “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’ “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’ Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’” (Luke 16:19-31 NKJV) Hell
is a Place of Fire In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says: "And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." In Matthew 25:41, Jesus says: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,. . ." Revelation 20:15 says, " And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Who
can be saved? “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15 NKJV) |
