Roman Catholics in the Valley of Decision

"Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision." (Joel 3:14)

What's up in the Vatican?

What's going on in the Roman Catholic Church? Why does it currently have TWO leaders, one governing and one emeritus? Why is the governing leader saying that atheists can go to heaven and that the book of the Muslims is as good as the Holy Bible? Why does he not condemn sodomy? Why does he advocate mandatory state-controlled redistribution of wealth? (And why not just distribute the Vatican's vast hoard of wealth to all the world's poor?) Why is he going to speak to the US Congress and the United Nations assembly this month? It's time for thinking people who claim to be followers of Jesus to seriously consider these questions.

Saved for a purpose

When I was five years old, Satan tried to snuff out my life by making a school bus run me down. I admit to foolishness on my part for running in front of the bus, but I thank Yahweh Jesus for sending an angel to protect me and for saving my life (and also for giving me good parents who had me operated on by a good doctor.) Why did Yahweh Jesus bother to save my life? I believe He had a purpose, and part of that purpose has been to fight on His side against the forces of evil.

Saved out of the Catholic Church

I grew up as a devoted member of the Roman Catholic Church. I attended Catholic schools and Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) classes. I regularly attended mass and went to confession to confess my sins. I served as an altar boy and a member of the choir at guitar masses. I was also a member of a university Catholic fellowship at St. Mary's Church in Oxford, Ohio, and I helped the church plan it's computer system as part of my second year systems analysis course project.

However, my life changed drastically when I was 21, as Yahweh Jesus saved me after I read the New Testament and repented of trying to save myself through my own efforts, which was trampling Jesus underfoot, counting the blood of Jesus as an unholy thing and insulting the Spirit of grace (Heb. 10:29). Yahweh Jesus called this being born again or born from above. It's a spiritual rebirth that one must go through in to transfer out of Satan's kingdom (the world's system) and into Yahweh Jesus' Kingdom. This was the most important decision of my life.

After careful consideration and an important meeting with both a Catholic priest and a Bible-believing pastor, I decided that there were serious bugs in the Catholic program, and I was unable to debug it. Thus, I made a second important decision: I formally renounced my Catholic faith in the presence of around 10-20 witnesses at my Catholic fellowship and encouraged them to read the Bible and believe in Jesus, not the traditions of the Catholic Church (see Colossians 2:8). Then, I left the Catholic Church to avoid its bad teaching and sit under Biblical teaching instead.

Polarization today in the Roman Catholic Church

"Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision." (Joel 3:14)

Today, millions of Catholics must make a similar decision - to stay in the Roman Catholic Church or leave. Sides are being taken within the church, and multitudes truly must make a decision.

"For there must be heresies / differences among you, that those who are approved may be manifest / evident among you." (1 Corinthians 11:19)

In the last few years, I have come across some important intel about the church that I think all Christians should know, since around one billion people are members of this church and since the leadership is very powerful all over the world. Much of the intel has actually come from insiders, some of whom I consider to be saved (i.e., real Christian) priests, e.g. Malachi Martin, Bill Schnoebelen and Paul Kramer.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge ..." (Hosea 4:6)

If you want to get up to speed, the following interview on Caravan to Midnight with a Roman Catholic priest covers a broad range of topics related to Catholicism that are significant today, especially things related to its leader, Francis:

The Pope from Hell?
Paul Kramer on Caravan to Midnight

Francis is the first known Jesuit in the leadership position of this denomination. He is making statements that are contrary to both the Bible and Roman Catholic tradition. According to the Prophecy of the Popes, he also may be the final pope. Is he a wolf in sheep's clothing? In Matthew 7:15-20, Jesus said we will know a tree by its fruit, so you be the fruit inspector! Your eternal destiny could be at stake! "The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem." (Lamentations 4:12)

"... That which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of a God." (Luke 16:15)

"Do not enter a mismatch with unbelievers;for what do righteousness and lawlessness have in common? And what fellowship does light have with darkness? And what agreement is there between Christ and Belial? Or what portion can a believer share with an unbeliever? Further, what agreement can a temple of God have with idols? Because you are a temple of the living God, just as God said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them; I will be their God and they will by my people.” Therefore, "Come out from among them and be separate," says the Lord, "Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you." And, "I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to me, says the LORD Almighty." (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
